Prana Vinyasa is an energetic, creative, full-spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga, as cultivated by Shiva Rea and the Global Vinyasa Collective of Teachers. Students of all levels are empowered to experience prana – the universal source of breath, life-energy and conscious intelligence – as the navigating source of their yoga practice. Practitioners learn classical and innovative approaches to vinyasa yoga and the state of flow, inspired by Krishnamacharya’s teachings, Tantra, Ayurveda, Bhakti, and Somatics. Prana Flow classes are breath inspired journeys that offer a complete spectrum (ha-tha) of rhythms from meditative and rejuvenating to the challenging and empowering. Every class is well rounded, following the mandala of the body and asanas – to create whole body transformation of strength and fluidity, circulation and centering.
This class introduces yoga asanas (postures), details optimal body alignment and integrates stretching and breathing exercises, with straight-forward sequencing that is accessible for all levels. This class is recommended for those new to yoga, stiff athletes or anyone looking for a deeper focus on breath and alignment.
Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement,” and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like. This class is open to ALL yogis and can be modified for all levels.
Experience the power of the collective while meditating in our sacred studio space. Open to all practitioners of all styles of meditation and those wishing to start a meditation practice. Classes may be guided or unguided and may include silent sitting meditation, movement, chanting, and breath work.
Iyengar yoga focuses on precise body alignment, the use of props to help students of all abilities perform the asanas, and an understanding of the therapeutic potential of yoga. The asanas build strength, flexibility, stamina, balance and aid in stress reduction. Postures are held for longer periods of time in order to cultivate control of the breath, concentration, and inward self study.
Restorative yoga is a very relaxed practice which utilizes props to support, open, and create ease in the body. A totally rejuvenating practice comprised of seated postures and supported inversions which are held for longer periods of time to allow for deep relaxation in the postures. Designed for all levels and may include breath work, guided meditations, and an extended savasana.
Slow Flow is a mindful, slow paced yoga class that incorporates conscious flowing of breath with movement of body. This class is approachable for both beginners and more experienced students. The challenge in the class is from awareness of movement that is slow and focused.
Yin Yoga Nidra
Yin yoga is a relaxing practice that targets the joints and soft tissues of the body to enhance range of motion and flexibility, while relieving pain and chronic tension throughout the body. Yin yoga complements any active yoga practice or exercise routine. Finish the practice with Yoga Nidra, a deep form of guided relaxation and meditation that heals and rejuvenates.
Vin-Yin Yoga is a combination of vinyasa flow and yin yoga. We’ll start with the passive long holds of yin yoga to target joints, connective tissues and fascia, supported with props while holding poses for 2-5 minutes, then follow it with a super-slow vinyasa practice where we’ll linger in our asanas a bit.
This class is open to all levels.
Therapeutic Yoga uses a methodic application of sequences to unwind fascial patterns of holding and pain in the body. Much of the work is floor-based and passive, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy! These classes are designed for everyone; athletes and couch potatoes, young and old will find this practice accessible and will benefit from it!

INTRO TO ASHTANGA
Ashtanga Yoga is a system of Yoga popularized in modern times by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, and is credited as being the foundation of all Vinyasa styles of yoga. Students will be introduced to Ashtanga Yoga sequences in an introductory and available manner. This class will give you the opportunity to flow and breathe while learning the foundations and primary poses of Ashtanga Yoga. This open level class is appropriate for beginners and experienced yogis alike.
(Level 2/3, as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois) Vinyasa means breathing and moving. Ashtanga-Vinyasa is a traditional practice with three main places of attention or action (trishtana): posture, breathing and gazing. This trifold method purifies the body, nervous system and mind. When this is practiced with due diligence over some time the six poisons (desire, anger, delusion, greed, envy and sloth) burn away and our inner nature shines forth. This method of hatha-yoga, through purifying body and mind, prepares one to practice all the eight limbs of Patanjali’s system of Ashtanga Yoga, as described in the Yoga sutras.
Kundalini Yoga is known as the yoga of awareness, and consists of a combination of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathwork), mudras (hand postures) and mantra (repeated sound currents to focus and elevate the mind). It is a practice that works on the nervous system, glandular system, meridians, organs and the electromagnetic field to improve overall health, vitality and well-being.
PIYO is a unique blend of Pilates and Yoga set to vibrant music. This class combines the mind/body practices of yoga with the principles of stretching, strength training, conditioning and dynamic movement found in Pilates. During a PiYo class, you will find yourself standing in a yoga pose one minute, and down on the floor in a Pilates pose the next! All levels of yogis and athletes alike are invited to experience this dynamic class.
Kids yoga classes weave together fun poses, music, games, stories, and other sensory-integrated activities to promote flexibility, strength, balance, collaboration, mindfulness and wellness both on and off the yoga mat. Children age 12 and under are welcome and parents may attend with their kids.
