October Kula News!

I truly am feeling this KULA (Yoga family) strongly at this moment! As many of you may know, I have embarked on building an “EcoNest” straw clay home by Donny SmithWorks Natural Homes. It is my “miracle” to finally have a home and many people from our yoga community stepped in to help raise the walls last week! It was a lot of  work and a lot of fun, and I am so grateful that people took time out of their day to help! I feel like it will not only be my home, but everyone’s home. Just like Y4P does not turn anyone away due to income and has classes for everyone, my home will have a door open for guests and people who need a cozy fire and friend (me!) to share a cup of chai, bowl of kitchari, or late night tears or laughter with…

This is an auspicious time of year! Equinox and new moon just passed, and now we celebrate world traditions of the Jewish new year as well as Navaratri, the festival that honors and invokes all aspects of the Goddess. We like to embrace all traditions here, and keep the remembrance of my Guru’s teaching:

“Love Everyone. Serve Everyone.” Remember God.” The reminder that we are all ONE no matter what traditions we follow is the message I like to spread… As the leaves change and begin to fall off the trees where (more) snow will soon be falling, I hope you will find peace, inspiration, and solace in our sacred space.

Thank you for your continued support!

Om Love!

Monica
